River Water User Association, Institute of Rural Development and Research Allahabad is a Non profitable organization(NGO) working to create awareness among various section of communities regarding increasing shortage of surface and ground water throughout the country through its community development, research, training and cultural programs related to water.

The River Basins: Ecosystem Crisis and Water Scarcity will be held on February 20-21, 2016 at Allahabad. The conference will provide a leading edge, scholarly forum for researchers, engineers, scientists, academicians, government officials and students will share their state-of-the art research and developmental work in the water and other fields related to water. The conference will feature a diverse mixture of interactive forums, core technical sessions of high quality cutting-edge research articles; insightful keynote speeches; panel discussions from domain experts and posters of emerging ideas.

The 1st and 2nd National Conferences organized by River Water User Association (India) were successfully held Allahabad. Selected high qualified speakers are from all over India. Government officials and scientists and Vice Chancellors working on important developing projects have delivered invited and Keynote lectures. Use of Water Conservation and Management, improving water use efficiency in agriculture and Application of Information Technology in Water Sector were the key focus issues in many presentations.

These presentations identified or offered solutions to problems, utilize case studies, identify knowledge gaps or collaboration opportunities, and discuss broader applications and implications of material presented. Participants from academic, industrial professionals and key-decision makers delivered the new achievement on their research, together discussed and analyzed the efficient use of water and its conservation.

The conference has promoted the communication of colleagues and collaboration of partners from the Industries, Academic and Scientific Institutions, and Government officials.

Large number of research Scholars, students of Engineering, IT and Agriculture and other disciplines has also attended the Conference and were equally benefitted.
